Well, how can you have a club without a little bit of healthy competition? The club hosts various activities each month, all in the interest of our members.

CONTESTS

Each month, members will have until a given date to design their own Yu-Gi-Oh! card. The card will be related to the month’s theme, and judging will be split into two categories. For those of you who are not artistically-inclined, it is still possible to win the contest based on the plausibility and originality of your card, so never fear! Templates for the card itself are available in our Gallery, though you do not have to use these.

Ensure that your card is appropriately sized, named and that spelling, grammar and Yu-Gi-Oh! text stylistics are taken into account. Ensure that your picture is square and is illustrated; photos will not be accepted.

The artwork of the card itself will be judged by ~Chaos-Flower. The text of the card will be judged by ~ElairaHunter. Work hard to impress them!

The talented ~the-dark-paligin will award two prizes each month on the basis of the Judges’ Choices. These prizes will be a drawn, inked and digitally-coloured request of your OC against a white background, based on the profile you have given and any other additional information ~the-dark-paligin may require.

To enter the contest, send a Note with the subject CONTEST, including a link to your deviation. The card will also then be hosted by the club, so that other members may view your entry.

Design a Field Spell Card suitable for a Monarch-based deck.

CHALLENGES

For those of you who like to test your Dueling talents, we also have challenges. These are simply in-duel scenarios which are up to you to solve. The challenges will be uploaded each month, with a Normal and Advanced option. Take a look at our Gallery to participate but remember – don’t look at the deviation comments if you want to have a crack at the Challenges! Correct Members will be revealed at the end of each month . It’s down to you to know about the specifics of each card in the challenge.

The colour of the font represents what type or card it is in real life, so Effect Monsters use an orange font, Spell Cards use green etc.
